SEND Playground Installers
The Everyday Play team are proud to be experienced SEND Playground Installers
At Everyday Play, we are proud to be specialist SEND playground installers, designing, building, and installing high-quality play environments across Kent, the South-East, and London.
Our experienced team recognises the importance of creating play spaces that support every child, which is why we place inclusive playgrounds at the heart of everything we do. We focus on developing SEND playgrounds that are thoughtfully designed to be accessible, engaging, and safe, ensuring children of all abilities can play side by side.
We believe inclusive play is essential for childhood development, helping to encourage social interaction, confidence building, exploration, and physical development. Every playground we create is carefully considered to provide a stimulating environment where barriers to play are reduced and opportunities for shared experiences are maximised.
By combining creative design with specialist knowledge, we deliver inclusive playgrounds that not only meet diverse needs but also inspire meaningful, enjoyable play for every child, regardless of ability.

Inclusive Play for every child
At Everyday Play, we believe every child deserves the chance to play, explore, and feel included. That’s why our play experts design welcoming spaces that promote inclusion and help break down barriers to participation.
We understand that every child is unique, and abilities can vary significantly from one child to another. With this in mind, our inclusive playground equipment range is carefully developed to support a wide variety of needs and abilities. From musical and activity play panels to sensory pathways, sand pits, and water play, our equipment stimulates the senses, encourages exploration, and fosters meaningful social interaction.
Many of our products are available with options to meet Equality Act 2010 (EA) compliance, ensuring accessibility and inclusion for all.
Whether you’re developing a SEN-specific setting or creating an inclusive space within a mainstream environment, we’ll work closely with you to design a play area that’s engaging, accessible, and truly inclusive.

Frequently Asked Questions about SEND Playground Equipment
What makes playground equipment “SEND-friendly”?
At Everyday Play, we believe a “SEND-friendly” playground is one where no child is left on the sidelines. It starts with inclusive infrastructure, such as wheelchair ramps that provide seamless access to raised platforms and picnic benches specifically designed with open spaces for a wheelchair to pull up directly to the table. We also focus heavily on sensory-led design, incorporating equipment that stimulates touch, sight, and sound – such as tactile panels and musical stations – to support children with various neurodiverse needs. From inclusive swings that provide extra support to layouts that offer both high-energy zones and quiet retreats, our goal is to create a space that is accessible, engaging, and safe for every child, regardless of their physical or cognitive requirements.
Do you provide musical or tactile play panels?
Yes, we offer an extensive range of interactive equipment designed to stimulate the senses. Our musical play panels offer sounds and touch while our tactile ‘touch’ panels offer varied textures and moving parts for fine motor skill development. A great example of this in action is our project at Woodchurch Primary School, where we designed a bespoke sensory walkway that combines movement with sensory engagement.
Are your SEND installations compliant with UK safety standards?
Absolutely. Every piece of equipment we provide and every installation we carry out strictly adheres to BS EN 1176 (Play Equipment) and BS EN 1177 (Impact Attenuating Surfacing) standards. Our own in-house, DBS-checked teams are specifically trained in the nuances of inclusive playground safety, ensuring that every bolt and surface is fit for purpose and provides the necessary protection for children with complex needs.
Do you work with SEN schools and nurseries directly?
Yes, we work closely with headteachers, site managers, and Occupational Therapist (OT) teams across the UK to design bespoke spaces. We understand that SEN environments require a sensitive approach to both design and construction, so we ensure our installation process is as quiet and non-disruptive as possible. You can see how we transformed a space into a complete sensory garden in Kent, featuring colourful panels and integrated planters designed specifically for a special needs setting.
