A little about this project
We were thrilled to work with Wingham Wildlife Park to create bespoke wooden play equipment — a safari jeep and a boat — to enhance their fantastic family attraction.
Our favourite creation is definitely the safari jeep. Starting from a simple sketch provided by the park’s owners, our design team developed the idea into a full concept. Then, our talented craftsmen brought it to life in our workshop, building a life-size, sit-on jeep. It now takes pride of place in the dinosaur zone, where it’s already being “driven” by many young adventurers!
The wooden boat was another fun addition, offering children even more imaginative play opportunities during their visit.
As Wingham Wildlife Park continues to grow as one of Kent’s top family destinations, we’re excited to see what the next project will bring!

We had ideas of what the play area would look like but Everyday Play went beyond our expectations. They shared a detailed visual drawing of the fully bespoke area with us and after a couple of alterations, it was agreed and the design came to life.

At Sussex Road School we strive to develop bespoke outdoor environments on a fairly small site. The Everyday Play team have been working closely with us, using their knowledge and skills to safely interpret our somewhat fanciful suggestions, and create imaginative solutions in keeping with the ethos of the school.
