A little about this project
Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase wanted to upgrade part of their outdoor play area with a surface that would enhance safety without compromising on appearance or durability. The goal was to create a more secure space for pupils to enjoy throughout the year.
We recommended and installed bonded rubber mulch – a robust and flexible safety surface for playgrounds known for its excellent impact absorption and natural aesthetic. This surfacing was laid at a thickness suitable for the equipment in use, helping to meet playground safety standards while blending seamlessly into the school’s outdoor environment.
Strong impact protection, ideal for areas with climbing or active play
Permeable and weather-resistant, allowing for year-round use
Natural look that complements the surroundings
Low maintenance with long-term durability
The completed surface has significantly improved the safety and usability of the play space at Leybourne Chase. Pupils now have a soft, slip-resistant area to explore and enjoy, and staff can feel confident knowing the surface supports active, injury-reducing play.
We’re proud to have contributed to creating a safer and more enjoyable environment for the school community.
