A little about this project
Creating a space to climb, explore, balance and play! We transformed the outdoor play area at Roseacre Primary School in Bearsted, Maidstone, creating an exciting and engaging space designed to encourage active play, build confidence and support children’s physical development. The project included the installation of our Multi Pole Climber 05 and Clamber Stack 02, offering a variety of climbing, balancing and coordination challenges. From traverse nets and rope bridges to stepping stones, swing steps and balance beams, each element encourages children to develop strength, agility and motor skills while having fun. We also installed approximately 312m² of artificial grass, complete with ground preparation and base works, alongside shockpad safety surfacing to create a practical, attractive play environment. Two Friendship Huts were added to provide welcoming spaces for children to socialise, connect and enjoy imaginative play. To give the existing playground a new lease of life, we also removed part of the old trim trail, replaced worn ropes and timbers on identified equipment, and jet washed existing areas. The result? A refreshed, vibrant playground that brings together adventure, friendship and physical development, making every playtime an opportunity to learn, grow and explore!
