• All timber used within our playground equipment is sourced from responsibly managed forests and is FSC® certified wherever applicable.
• FSC-certified timber supports sustainable forestry practices, protects biodiversity, and ensures forests are managed for future generations.
• We seek to source materials from UK and European suppliers where practical to reduce transportation distances and associated carbon emissions.
• Environmental performance is considered as part of our supplier selection process.

Durable and Sustainable Products

Creating long-lasting products is one of the most effective ways to reduce environmental impact.

• Our playground equipment is designed for durability and long service life.
• Components can often be repaired or replaced individually, reducing the need for complete equipment replacement.
• We use robust materials such as steel, timber, aluminium, and HDPE panels that are capable of withstanding heavy use and varying weather conditions.
• Steel and aluminium components are fully recyclable at the end of their operational life.

Waste Reduction and Recycling

We actively seek to reduce waste generated through our operations and installation activities.

• Waste materials are separated into appropriate recycling streams wherever possible.
• Timber, metal, cardboard, plastic, and packaging materials are recycled through licensed waste management providers.
• Packaging materials are kept to a minimum while ensuring products are adequately protected during transportation.
• We continually review opportunities to increase recycling rates and reduce waste sent to landfill.

Responsible Removal and Disposal of Existing Equipment

When undertaking refurbishment or replacement projects, we aim to manage the removal of existing playground equipment in an environmentally responsible manner.

• Existing equipment is assessed for reuse, refurbishment, or recycling wherever feasible.
• Materials removed from site are segregated to maximise recycling opportunities.
• Steel, aluminium, and other recyclable materials are sent to approved recycling facilities.
• Waste is handled by licensed waste management contractors in accordance with current environmental legislation.
• We seek to divert as much waste as possible from landfill through responsible recycling and recovery processes.

Reducing Carbon Emissions

• We plan deliveries and installation schedules efficiently to reduce vehicle journeys and fuel consumption.
• Multiple site visits are combined where practical to minimise travel-related emissions.
