A little about this project
Whitstable Castle approached Everyday Play with a vision: to enhance their grounds with a playful, imaginative space for younger visitors. Our playground designers worked closely to create a castle-themed play tower that reflected the historic charm and spirit of the site. Once the concept was finalised, our UK-based workshop built the bespoke structure entirely in-house, and our team installed it on site. The result is a safe, engaging space where children can climb, explore, and immerse themselves in a mini castle adventure – perfectly complementing Whitstable Castle’s heritage and atmosphere.

We had ideas of what the play area would look like but Everyday Play went beyond our expectations. They shared a detailed visual drawing of the fully bespoke area with us and after a couple of alterations, it was agreed and the design came to life.

At Sussex Road School we strive to develop bespoke outdoor environments on a fairly small site.
