A little about this project

Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill required a durable, low-maintenance safety surface for their outdoor play area – one that could withstand heavy use while offering excellent impact protection for children at play. Our team was brought in to supply and install a high-quality surfacing solution that met these needs as Everday Play specialise in safe playground surfacing in Kent.

Our team installed a thick layer of bonded rubber mulch safety surfacing across the designated play area. This material was chosen for its excellent shock absorption properties, natural appearance, and ability to perform in all weather conditions.

Rubber mulch is a popular choice for schools due to its:

  • Long-lasting durability

  • Low maintenance requirements

  • High safety performance (critical fall height compliance)

  • Natural, bark-like look that blends seamlessly into outdoor environments

The surfacing was installed to a depth suitable for the play equipment in place, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.

The result is a clean, safe, and visually appealing play surface that will serve the school community for years to come. It not only improves the overall look of the playground but also enhances safety and usability throughout the seasons.

We were proud to support Valley Invicta Primary School in creating a safer, more inviting outdoor space for their pupils.
