Everyday Play

The summer holidays are always one of the busiest times of the year for us at Everyday Play. With schools closed, we get the perfect window to transform playgrounds, outdoor spaces, and learning areas, ensuring children return to safe, exciting, and inspiring environments. This summer has been no exception, and as always, our in-house teams have been working tirelessly to bring a wide range of projects to life.

Over the past few months, we’ve been laying down safety surfacing to ensure that every step, jump, and climb is as safe as it is fun. We’ve installed a trim trail and fresh artificial grass, giving children the chance to explore, climb, and run in a bright, vibrant space that’s designed for play. Our team has also been busy creating sensory gardens – beautiful, interactive spaces full of colour, texture, and natural elements that engage all the senses, providing calm, stimulation, and inspiration for pupils of all ages.

It’s not just the smaller details that have kept us busy. We’ve been building and installing play towers, which are not only fun to explore but also encourage teamwork, creativity, and physical activity. Every project we undertake is carefully designed and installed with safety, durability, and long-term enjoyment in mind.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the dedication and hard work of our in-house teams. From our playground designers, planning and preparation to installation and finishing touches, the lads have gone above and beyond throughout the summer holidays, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts.

But the work doesn’t stop at individual schools. Across Kent, London, and the South East, the Everyday Play team is constantly on the move, designing, installing, and transforming outdoor spaces wherever there’s a need. From playgrounds and sensory gardens to sports courts, MUGAs, wooden shelters, outdoor classrooms, and safety surfacing, we take pride in creating spaces that are safe, engaging, and tailored to the unique needs of each school or community.

Summer is a whirlwind for us, but it’s also the most rewarding time of year. Watching projects come together from concept to completion, knowing that children will benefit from these spaces for years to come, is what drives the Everyday Play team. Every painted pebble, every swing, every patch of artificial grass and safety surfacing tells a story of care, craftsmanship, and creativity.

As the new term approaches, we’re looking forward to seeing children return to these spaces, ready to explore, learn, and play. And while the summer holidays may be over, our work is never done – there are always more playgrounds to transform, more outdoor classrooms to build, and more opportunities to make a difference in schools and communities across the region.

A huge thank you to everyone on the Everyday Play team for your hard work, dedication, and skill. Summer may be busy, but thanks to you, it’s also been incredibly successful – and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
