A little about this project
The lovely Deputy Head, Laura, got in touch with us as she wanted to create a special seating area for her school. After chatting through their ideas, we suggested adding a gazebo to the space — the perfect solution!
A gazebo not only looks great but also provides much-needed shade and shelter, making it an ideal spot for children to sit, relax, enjoy the outdoors, and socialise with friends.
We worked closely with Laura and the team to design a gazebo with enough seating for a whole class. Now the children have a fantastic space to gather, read, and take part in small group activities.
To finish it all off, we added a personalised school name sign, giving the area a lovely, welcoming touch.

We had ideas of what the play area would look like but Everyday Play went beyond our expectations. They shared a detailed visual drawing of the fully bespoke area with us and after a couple of alterations, it was agreed and the design came to life.

At Sussex Road School we strive to develop bespoke outdoor environments on a fairly small site. The Everyday Play team have been working closely with us, using their knowledge and skills to safely interpret our somewhat fanciful suggestions, and create imaginative solutions in keeping with the ethos of the school.
