As 2025 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on an incredible year at Everyday Play. From exciting new projects and installations to innovative designs and collaborations with schools, councils, and private clients, this year has been packed with activity.
Kicking Off the Year
We started 2025 by working on our new website, designed to showcase more of our products and make it easier for schools, councils, and customers to explore our playground solutions. It has been exciting to see the ideas and designs we’ve been creating highlighted in a way that’s easy to share with everyone.
From Pen and Paper to Reality
This year, we’ve seen countless ideas move from sketches on paper to fully realised playgrounds. Watching drawings come to life in our Bedford workshop, through manufacturing and installation, has been one of the most rewarding parts of 2025.
Our talented team of installers has done an amazing job, bringing creativity and precision to every playground project, from small nurseries to large school grounds.
Schools, Councils, and Beyond
2025 has been a busy year for school playgrounds. We’ve completed playground renovations at many schools across Kent and London and have started offering site visits and playground equipment across Surrey, Sussex and Essex too.
We’ve worked with headteachers, PTAs, local councils, and operations directors of attractions to improve outdoor spaces. Some of our projects included resurfacing, playground repairs, and full playground designs, ensuring that every space is safe, engaging, and inspiring.
We’ve also been proud to help schools make the most of their PE and sports budgets, creating outdoor areas that are more accessible for special needs children and encouraging girls into sport (read more here).
Inspiring Designs and Creative Projects
2025 has seen some truly standout designs. Some of our favourite projects include a bespoke castle for Whitstable Castle, creating a magical outdoor play space; a fantastic sensory garden complete with planters, designed with school children’s input making it personalised by adding their handprints to the sensory path. We also involved children at local schools by engaging children with trim trail worksheets, letting them help design their own obstacle courses – see here. We had the incredible Spitfire play equipment installed in the New Forest. We’ve also delivered playgrounds for specialist locations and themed areas, ensuring each space is unique and inspiring (read more about themed playgrounds). You can see lots more of our work in photographs on our Case Studies page.
Giving Back and Community Involvement
Giving back to our communities has been a highlight of 2025. We gave away a storytelling chair to a school as part of a competition at our exhibitions we attended.
We also donated a Mini Tower Unit to Woodchurch Church of England Primary School in Ashford, which has been a huge hit with the children.
We also sponsored the Barming Blues U9s football team, providing kits featuring the Everyday Play logo. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the players training hard, having fun, and enjoying their brand-new kit on the pitch.
Events and Engagement
This year we attended major industry events, including the Education Show and the Futurescape Show, connecting with schools, councils, and other organisations to share ideas and showcase our latest playground solutions.
A Year of Highlights
Looking back on 2025, it’s been a year full of creativity, collaboration, and growth. From full playground renovations and new installations to bespoke sensory areas, themed playgrounds, and large-scale designs, we’ve loved every minute of it.
