A little about this project
Thurnham Primary School had a wonderful idea for transforming a corner of their children’s outdoor area. They asked us to create a custom size sand pit with surrounding planters and some light shade to make the space even more inviting.
After completing the project, the school got back in touch to request a few additional touches – a gate at the entrance for extra security and a cover for the sandpit to keep it clean and free from animals.
It’s been a pleasure working with Thurnham Primary to help bring their outdoor vision to life!

We had ideas of what the play area would look like but Everyday Play went beyond our expectations. They shared a detailed visual drawing of the fully bespoke area with us and after a couple of alterations, it was agreed and the design came to life.

At Sussex Road School we strive to develop bespoke outdoor environments on a fairly small site.
